Campaign: Johan Boserup returns to Omnicom Media Group as Global CEO of Investment
Johan is responsible for one of the largest media buying portfolios in the world - across Omnicom’s media agencies OMD (which is the largest individual media agency network in the world), PHD and Hearts & Science. Responsibilities include the media buying and delivery for all of the Group’s clients across the globe, as well as the Group's global media partnerships and our digital operations and activation.
Johan has teams in virtually every country around the world, and sits on the Global Board of Omnicom Media Group and is part of the core Global leadership team. He works out of London, but spends more time in the Global HQ in New York, when not travelling to markets around the world. Home is in Copenhagen, Denmark with the family.
Before taking on his current role at the start of 2019 Johan was the Global CEO of Trading at WPP's GroupM for more than 5 years.
The move to Omnicom was a bit of a homecoming. Prior to GroupM Johan was with Omnicom Media Group for 17 years. For the first 10 years, he was running Trading and Digital Media in Denmark and the Nordic region, and in 2005 Johan was appointed European Director of Trading and Accountability at OMG Europe and moved to London. In 2008, Johan's responsibilities were extended to cover the entire Global remit which Johan continued to lead out of the London hub. Before jumping ship to WPP he was the Chief Trading & Accountability Officer Worldwide at Omnicom Media Group.
Johan is from Denmark but has lived in Notting Hill, London, for most of his adult life with his wife Signe and three boys Jakob, David and Mathias.
